Could be Interesting!I extensively used Browser Add-ons for my FireFox. It makes my whole online experience so much better! I wonder why people are not using them. It pains my heart to see people still waiting for Ads on YouTube 📺 to go away before they are able to stream the video...
Every time I powered up my Mac, I straightaway launch FireFox (my default browser). It definitely is one of the most frequently used applications in my Mac. 😅
I like to make my life easier whenever I can and this includes taking advantage of Extensions available in FireFox. After all, they are built by like-minded developers who got frustrated from everyday life nuances. Besides, they are FREE. But please buy the developers a cup of coffee if you can.
Here's a list of browser extensions I installed and activated in my FireFox. There should be equivalent ones for Chrome as well. I just like my FireFox.
AdBlocker Perfect, perfect, perfect! I'm sure there are many better alternatives for blocking Ads but this one has been with me for many many years. The amount of Ads I would get bombarded with if not for AdBlocker, I cannot even imagine. And this is me telling who highly values privacy over convenience, so much so that, I only use Firefox in private mode (incognito mode) always and never login to my GoogleAccount while browsing! Install AdBlocker plugin and you will never have to worry about waiting Ads to go away in your YouTube streaming.
built with This is a great tool to get an insight into which tech stacks are used for a website. I like to pry on other websites and see what tech stacks they are using. It's always interesting to find the latest trend. This website profiler plugin is free to install but you can subscribe if you want to get the detailed analysis of a website. I only used free version without creating an account.
TinEye Reverse Image Search A very convenient image search plugin. You just have to right click on the the image your found in the website to search the image and locate web pages using the image. And your searched image is never saved or indexed. How do Tin Eye search for the image? Well, a combination of computer vision, pattern recognition, neural network, machine learning. It's all about data! Never stop asking how things work!
ClearURLs I hate the tracking URLs. I mean they are good for marketers to gain insights but for me who advocates privacy, it's a NO. No tracking ever. I don't need you to personalize my CX Experience, thank you. I will buy your products if your product is legit good and not because of your Ads, massive audiences or influencers. This plugin is for those who are like me who hates tracking. About tracking, I'm linking my post about Tiny Pixels in your email. I got to know a lot about Digital Marketing world after my stint at SAP Emarsys (CX Marketing Software). There is no end to the learning.
Decentraleyes Another privacy plugin I recently discovered. This plugin is all about CDN routing.
